I didn’t realize it was integrated as an espresso shot. Now I want to taste it again… Some friends have mentioned that the coffee taste was more obvious at room temperature.

I agree with you on the presence of coffee in the taste, it’s really subtle. Fun fact: the coffee was brewed as espresso. Imagine the guy having to pull 40 000 plus shots!

I’m guessing the reasoning behind the flavor profile is that it’ll appeal to people who like coffee, and won’t “ruin” the glögg to people who don’t. :)

Your office is in a great location! The super-wide angle is handy for in-door shots, but even a basic 18mm zoom gets pretty wide! Glad you like the pictures :)

Most probaly FIKA has got glögg in the winter. They usually get traditional Swedish stuff like semlor and julbord. http://www.fikanyc.com/

I discovered your website thanks to this post! I really loved the photos first time I saw them in December. St Ali is in the same building as my office (lucky me) so I do go there a lot for coffee takeaways. As usual, I envy your wide angle shots as I tend to only shoot close-up with my 50mm f/1.4! ;)

how you doing? Love the blog. As a coffee afficionado like yourself I am always looking for that small shop that makes its own roasts, the barista who knows his shit and the cup that you wish would never go empty.
I would love to hear more about your motivation etc.
I am currently thinking of setting up a business around coffee and would appreciate your thoughts.

Woah, your photos really make me want to go back to Stockholm, though I was there only last weekend! There are so many places I wish I had had the time to visit! I went to Snickarbacken 7 with Jesper and I found the espresso to be very bitter.
Sadly I didn’t have the time for a proper visit of Sodermalm for Drop Coffee and the Cupcake shop! :(
