It seems like I keep hearing about how awesome Colorado is. People moving there. Others visiting and coming back with stories of craft beer flowing like water, delicious food, and gorgeous country. So when I recently had a business trip that took me to Denver, hyped was an understatement – I was looking forward to making the most of my 48 hours.

My schedule was pretty tight, but the Oxford hotel happened to have complimentary car service and I had just enough time to sneak off to Crema for a quick coffee. The shop is located in what looks like an industrial area, but even on a weekday morning it had a stream of people coming in. They offer a wide variety of great national and local roasters, including: Boxcar, Counter Culture, Dogwood, Handsome, Herkimer, Huckleberry, Intelligentsia, Novo, Stumptown, and Victrola. I enjoyed my espresso, and look forward to visiting again to explore the rest of the Denver coffee scene in the future!

And a few photos from other spots:

Odell’s St. Lupulin APA – a Fort Collins, CO brewery. Good stuff!

The Oxford Hotel was really nice, and the complimentary car service is a great feature. Would definitely recommend staying here!
